Why Maison Indie?
Artisanal fashion is amazing. Not only are you supporting iconic fashion designers of tomorrow before anyone else, you get an expertly crafted piece made ethically with attention and love. The quality can't be matched by operations producing millions of garments. And due to the pieces being handmade, techniques that are hard to do by machines at scale set them apart and unlock new possibilities. Indie designers also get to be more experimental: resulting in pieces you won't find anywhere else.
How did it all begin?
Our team got its start as a fast fashion brand. After ending up as one of the fastest growing new fast fashion startups in Germany, we decided to pursue something more sustainable and started a retail vintage store and an online luxury designer fashion retailer. With this experience, we're looking to help smaller indie designers find their audience.
